ANDREA UCCHINO ANDREGRAUEN
I am a multifaceted creative professional with a background spanning design, music, and contemporary art. Born in Milan in 1990, I graduated in Product Design from IED, weaving my career from the start with a passion for electronic music, publishing tracks on international labels during my university years. It was then that I realized the power of combining technology with creativity, an insight that defined my artistic approach.
In 2012, I co-founded Grauen Studio/Grauen Art Gallery in Monza, a place where art and design converge and come to life. Through projects like Recover Monza, I collaborated with post-graffiti artists to explore new forms of urban regeneration. Since then, my journey has evolved into a continuous dialogue between visual art and innovation, culminating in collaborations with artists like Leo Anibaldi and artistic direction roles in techno & house underground events.
Today, as Design Director for Southern Europe at Berlin Packaging EMEA, I blend innovation and creativity to bring unique packaging projects to life, while continuing to nurture my passion for art. In 2024, I started Hateism, an introspective project that delves into the depths of the subconscious through mixed techniques and experimental materials.
Andregrauen is the identity through which I explore and deepen my artistic vision. The name, echoing the German word Grauen—evoking shades of gray, unease, and introspection—represents the most authentic and raw side of my work. It is a “space” where technology merges with creativity, allowing me to experiment without limits and reveal hidden emotions and fragments of the subconscious. Every piece signed Andregrauen is an invitation to discover an intimate world rich in texture, light, and three-dimensionality, where the visible and invisible meet.
As a member of the international collective Stochastic Resonance, I create cross-media projects that explore the intersections between technology, perception, and art.
